SnapStash AI Terms of Service

1. General

1.1 Purpose

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the SnapStash AI mobile app and web inbox (the "Service") provided by Nomad Lab (the "Company"), the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and its users, and other necessary matters.

1. These Terms take effect when posted in the Service or otherwise announced to users.
2. The Company may change these Terms within the limits of applicable law.
3. Changes are announced in the app 7 days before they take effect. Changes that are unfavorable to users are announced 30 days before.
4. If you do not agree to the changed Terms, you may stop using the Service and delete your account. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the changed Terms.

2. Using the Service

1. You must create an account to use the Service.
2. Only people aged 14 or older may sign up.
3. You must agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

2.3 Changes to and Suspension of the Service

1. The Company may change or discontinue all or part of the Service.
2. Changes or discontinuation are announced 30 days in advance in the app or by email.
3. The Service may be suspended temporarily without notice for:
   • System maintenance, inspection, or replacement
   • Natural disasters, national emergencies, or other force majeure
   • Other causes beyond the Company's control

3. Accounts

3.1 Signing Up

1. You can sign up with:

   • An email and password
   • A Google account
   • An Apple ID

2. You must provide accurate information when signing up.

3.2 Account Security

1. You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
2. If you learn of unauthorized use of your account, notify the Company immediately.
3. The Company is not responsible for losses caused by careless management of your account.

3.3 Deleting Your Account

1. You can delete your account at any time in the app's settings.
2. When you delete your account, the Company deletes your account information and the stash items, chat history, search index, images, and PDFs stored on its servers. Data stored on your device is removed when you delete the app. Retention periods for each item, and information kept as required by law, follow Section 5 of the Privacy Policy.
3. Deleting your account does not cancel an app store subscription. If you do not want it to renew, cancel it in the app store before deleting your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

4.1 Plans

1. Actual prices and billing periods are those shown in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and on the in-app purchase screen.
2. To keep the Service stable and prevent abuse, per-minute and per-day usage limits may apply on any plan.
3. The Company may change the plans, usage limits, and features, and will announce significant changes in advance.

4.2 Payment

1. Paid subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. You are charged when the subscription starts, and it renews automatically each billing period (monthly or yearly).
3. The lifetime pass is a one-time purchase that does not renew. It provides Premium features for as long as the Service operates.
4. Payment issues follow the policies of the app store you used.

4.3 Automatic Renewal

1. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
2. To stop renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
3. You can cancel in your device's Settings > App Store > Subscriptions.

4.4 Refunds

1. Refunds follow Apple's or Google's policies.
2. If you cancel during a billing period, you can use the Service until the period ends.
3. To request a refund, contact the app store directly.

4.5 Changing Plans

1. You can change plans at any time.
2. Upgrades take effect immediately.
3. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.

4.6 Free Trials

1. Depending on the store offering, the Company may provide free trials or promotions.
2. Whether a trial is offered, and its conditions, are as shown on the purchase screen.
3. If you do not want the trial to convert to a paid subscription, cancel before the trial end shown.

5. Users' Rights and Obligations

5.1 Your Rights

1. You may use the Service as set out in these Terms.
2. You keep ownership of the content you upload.
3. You may exercise the rights described in the Privacy Policy.

5.2 Your Obligations

You must not:

1. If you violate these Terms, the Company may:

   • Warn you
   • Suspend your use of the Service temporarily
   • Suspend your account permanently (terminating the agreement)

2. While your account is suspended, access to your saved data may be restricted.

6. Content

6.1 Your Content

1. You own the copyright to the content you upload.

2. You grant the Company a non-exclusive license to use it for:

   • Providing the Service (storing, displaying, transmitting)
   • Improving the Service (never for training AI models)
   • Technical processing (text extraction, AI analysis, indexing)

3. You must have the legal right to the content you upload.

6.2 AI Processing

1. The Service sends the screenshots, links, and PDFs you save to outside AI processors for text extraction and analysis. Section 4 of the Privacy Policy lists the processors and what each one receives.
2. AI results may not be 100% accurate; you can check and edit them yourself.
3. The Company is not liable for losses caused by AI processing errors unless caused by its intent or gross negligence.

6.3 Content Removal

1. You can delete your content at any time.
2. The Company may delete content without your consent if it:
   • Violates the law
   • Infringes the rights of others
   • Violates these Terms

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 The Company's Intellectual Property

1. The intellectual property in the Service's design, software, logos, and trademarks belongs to the Company.
2. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from them without the Company's prior written consent.

7.2 Feedback

The Company may use suggestions, ideas, and feedback you provide without restriction and without any obligation to compensate you.

8. Disclaimers

8.1 The Service

1. The Service is provided "as is", and the Company does not guarantee its completeness, accuracy, or reliability.
2. Unless caused by its intent or gross negligence, the Company is not liable for:
   • Data lost while using the Service (including data stored only on your device)
   • Errors in AI analysis
   • Outages of third-party services (Firebase, AI APIs, and the like)
   • Problems with your device or network

8.2 Damages

1. Except for damage caused by the Company's intent or gross negligence, the Company's liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid.
2. The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

8.3 Force Majeure

The Company is not liable when it cannot provide the Service because of causes beyond its control, such as natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, government action, epidemics, or internet outages.

9. Disputes

9.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

9.2 Jurisdiction

Disputes about the use of the Service go to the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

10.1 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions stay in effect.

10.2 No Waiver

The Company's failure or delay in enforcing a provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right.

10.3 Entire Agreement

These Terms are the entire agreement between the parties about the use of the Service and replace all prior oral or written agreements.

10.4 Language

These Terms are written in Korean and translated into English. If the two differ, the Korean version prevails.
