By downloading, installing, or using SnapStash ("the App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SnapStash is a mobile application that provides:

• AI-powered text extraction from screenshots and images
• Intelligent organization and categorization of content
• Full-text search across your saved content
• RAG-powered chat assistant for querying your knowledge base

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

• You must create an account to use SnapStash
• You can sign in using Google or Apple authentication
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account

Account Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information when creating your account
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Subscription Plans

Free Plan

• 30 screenshot analyses per month
• Local storage only
• Basic search functionality
• RAG chat limited to recent 30 items

Pro Plan ($4.99/month)

• Unlimited screenshot analyses
• Full history RAG access
• Custom tags and categories
• Priority AI processing

Pro+ Plan ($11.99/month)

• All Pro features
• Cloud backup and sync
• Multi-device access
• Export to Notion/Obsidian
• Priority support

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly through the App Store or Google Play
• You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing period
• No refunds for partial months

5. User Content

Ownership

• You retain ownership of all content you upload to SnapStash
• You grant us a limited license to process your content for service delivery

Content Guidelines

You agree not to upload content that:

• Violates any laws or regulations
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains malware or harmful code
• Is offensive, abusive, or inappropriate

Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms without notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use SnapStash only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated systems to access the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
• Use the service for commercial purposes without permission

7. Intellectual Property

Our Property

• SnapStash and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us
• Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without permission

Third-Party Services

• The App uses Google Gemini for AI processing
• Third-party services are subject to their own terms

8. Privacy

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• AI-generated content will be accurate or complete
• The service will meet your specific requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

12. Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings.

By Us

We may terminate or suspend your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Fail to pay subscription fees

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your access to the service will cease
• Local data remains on your device
• Cloud data will be deleted within 30 days

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law
