Your Screenshots, Everywhere You Need Them
Secure cloud backup with multi-device sync. Access your organized screenshot collection from any device, and never worry about losing your data again.
Seamless Sync That Keeps Everything in Perfect Harmony
SnapStash AI's cloud sync is built on Firebase, providing enterprise-grade reliability and security. Your screenshots, extracted text, categories, tags, summaries, and custom settings are all synced in real-time across every device where you are signed in. Make a change on your phone and see it instantly on your tablet.
The backup system works automatically in the background. Every new screenshot and all its AI-generated metadata are encrypted and uploaded to the cloud without any manual intervention. If you switch phones, restore from a backup, or simply want to access your collection from a second device, everything is there waiting for you.
Privacy remains a priority even with cloud features. All data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. You control what gets synced: choose to sync everything, only metadata, or specific categories. The cloud is opt-in by design, respecting users who prefer a fully local experience.
Pro+ users also get export capabilities to popular productivity tools. Send your organized screenshots and their extracted data to Notion, Obsidian, or other platforms. This turns SnapStash AI into a powerful bridge between your visual captures and your existing knowledge management system.

Cloud sync and backup is a Pro+ feature ($11.99/month). Free and Pro users store data locally on their device. Pro+ adds multi-device sync, cloud backup, and export capabilities to Notion and Obsidian.
All data is encrypted with AES-256 both in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Our infrastructure runs on Firebase with Google Cloud's security standards. You can also enable additional device-level encryption for maximum protection.
Your local data remains untouched. Cloud-synced data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, giving you time to download everything. After that, cloud copies are deleted, but your local screenshots and metadata stay on your device.
